Need help with SwiftSend Local? Email miracleforest233@proton.me.
SwiftSend works over your local network. For the best result, keep both devices on the same Wi-Fi network and allow Local Network permission when iOS or macOS asks.
Common Checks
- Make sure both devices are awake and connected to the same local network.
- Allow Local Network permission for SwiftSend in system settings.
- Turn off VPN, proxy, or guest Wi-Fi isolation if devices cannot see each other.
- If discovery does not work, add the peer manually with its local IP address and port 53317.
- If PIN protection is enabled, enter the PIN shown by the receiving device.
Sending Files
Open Send, add files, folders, photos, clipboard text, or a short message, then choose a nearby device. The receiver may need to approve the transfer before files are saved.
Receiving Files
Open Receive and keep sharing running. Received files are saved to the SwiftSend Inbox or the folder you choose in settings.
Share Links
Share links are local network links. They are not public internet URLs. Devices must be able to reach your device on the same network, and optional PIN settings still apply.
Privacy
SwiftSend does not use accounts, developer-operated cloud storage, advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs. Read the Privacy Policy.
